Streichquartett No. 4, Op. 22 was written by the German composer Paul Hindemith in 1921 and published in 1923. Interestingly, this quartet was first recognized as Hindemith's third string quartet until a quartet written a year earlier was discovered. This changed the number of all subsequent quartets up by one.
This arrangement is for a woodwind quintet, but using some alternate instruments, including: Flute and Alto Flute; English Horn instead of Oboe; Clarinet in A instead of Bb.
Arranged, Engraved, and Published by Thomas Breadon Jr.
